Hey what's up guys, my name's Garrison Coleman. I play baseball here at Point, I'm a student athlete. Welcome to a day in my life.

Most days for me get started around 7:30 in the morning. I like to get up early, make quick breakfast and head to the gym. I try to get there about 8:30 to get a quick lift in before I grab a protein shake and head to class.

Most mornings, especially on Mondays and Wednesdays, I got a 10:50 AM and a 12:40. Speaking of which, I got a finance class right now.

As a Business Administration major, I'm learning a lot of new things that go beyond baseball. A lot of stuff that I know I will carry with me very long after I'm done playing. I've actually got a new internship this summer lined up doing project management for a company I'm very familiar with. It's a mechanical engineering company and I'm very excited to move forward with them.

After class, I like to come to the field early to get some batting practice in before our full practice. The balance between school and baseball is a big part of why I like being here. And you really do feel supported on both sides.

Coaches care about how you're doing in the classroom, and our professors understand the commitment that it takes to be a student athlete.

Our team is really tight-knit. Teammates become family pretty quickly here, and there's a level of accountability that comes with that. Guys are pushing each other here every day, whether it's in the weight room, at practice, or making sure we're staying on top of our schoolwork.

Faith is a huge part of the culture here at Point too. It's just naturally built into the environment. Whether it's a quick prayer before a game or just conversations with teammates. It helps keep you grounded and focused on something bigger.

We all came here to compete at a very high level. But beyond that, we're leaving here stronger in who we are. That's what makes this place different.
